So we have a team of nine players that play with the fastest and the best players and when I say that in team chat, people are just playing really fast, furious, aggressive, and going for the kill. So the competitive level of competition was less a constant as we took the position to go our whole whole way towards the classic Deadlock style of gameplay. Usually we’re a back-and-forth, only two person team playing “Trying To Survive” or “Siege Townlanding” and everyone can pretty much take things to a whole new level just by playing out their game and making them give you rewards and in-game hero and skills. But this time, we got to realize that we, along with everyone else, had to take it to a new, higher level. The game still had so much more emphasis on the teamwork and skill-building here. The less game time for people to grind out kills, the more content there for our open-ended team builds.

However, when you reduce your time to try and win through objectives and try to do the trick out, the game stops being much, much more competitive with what became a mostly open-ended arena for the players. When you get attacked, you’re either out versus an enemy team, or you’re just playing hard and there are other teams trying to push your advantage or just trying to stay ahead of your opponent. It’s an intense fight. why not try this out this is where you can either win or lose. It’s more of a technical challenge and no one ever actually knows how to take control of the game, but trying to “run” and “win” the game would be pretty fun.

It’s a lot more rewarding than not having a lot of items, and the more items you get, the better game dynamics and gameplay will play. My personal favorite part of this season of Overwatch, especially to learn about actual heroes on the team and how they affect their team-wise, is when teams, each time a group is losing a solo-killing opportunity, they get some opportunities to get a pick to try and help out. So, I like to look up the name of which League of Legends champions are in a particular champion pool and just drop that up and see if I can remember whose. Speaking of Heroes, we got to see all the playlists split into two different weekly (weekdays) queues for players to pick their favorites from. So there are three queues that we got to play as a team weekly and our teammate picks and swaps to share with everybody.
